This year, we’re offering one free afternoon and three unique evenings in collaboration with the local minimal label Akta Record, the renowned Parisian house label De La Groove, and Automatic Events.

Jeremy Underground

September 2024 will see the release of Jeremy’s third reissue compilation project, ”90’s House & Garage v.3” on Dave Lee’s Z Records.

Born in 1986 in a Parisian suburb, Jeremy is a passionate record collector and music lover whose collection and knowledge of house, disco, soul, and funk surpasses his years of collecting it. First inspired by listening to Radio Nova & Radio FG in Paris, he spent his formative teenage years in record shops with a sole idea in mind: unearthing hidden house music treasures, leaving no stone unturned. Then, later on applying the same process with other musical styles such as jazz/soul/funk…

Jeremy started “My Love Is Underground” in 2010, a vinyl-only label dedicated to his first love: the authentic, New York/New Jersey house sound. His mission was to bring these warm vibes back and showcase the spirit of this golden era in house. Label highlights include “MoTP” by Inner Sense, “True Force” by SE62..

Over the course of 2010’s his honesty and dedication towards music rocketed him to the forefront of international DJing, and in the early 2020’s that’s where he remains, still with the rare feature of being a DJ only and not a Musician/DJ.

His landmark debut compilation in 2014, the stunning “My Love Is Underground” 3xLP on Favorite Recordings, features Jeremy’s hand picked selection of rare & out of press house jams. A defining moment in his burgeoning career, it was ranked by Resident Advisor #1 best compilation of the year, winning praise from DJ’s and collectors alike for the depth and raw quality of the selection. A volume 2 of this compilation followed up two years later.

2016’s ‘Jeremy Underground Presents Beauty’, released on Spacetalk, was another career milestone. The largely downtempo mix displayed a broader love of music, received rave reviews from the likes of RA, Gilles Peterson, and beyond, and confirmed him once again as one of the finest music curators.

Jeremy’s live sets share similar class and passion; one look at either of his three Boiler Room performances shows an exceptional ability to connect with the dance floor, the recordings of the b2b sets with Danilo Plessow (MCDE)  at Dimensions, Robert Johnson or Sonar are considered as classics

His friend and inspiration, Kerri Chandler, has also featured alongside him for Boiler Room, with the pair coming together in 2018 under the “Underground Kaoz” banner, with shows for Awakenings, Nuits Sonores and Lovebox.

The mix is undeniably club-oriented but carries a chill touch, perfect for a radio warm-up. Segoz
